Acclaimed comedian Michelle Wolf is redefining the podcast landscape by live-streaming her podcast, Thought Box, featuring new jokes and material every single week on PunchUp Live. While standups’ podcasts trend toward improvised chatter, Wolf stays true to her roots and passion for presenting new material for a live audience in an actual comedy club. Each episode is recorded in front of a live audience, capturing the spontaneity and energy of a true comedy show, and streamed live exclusively on comedy’s newest platform, PunchUp Live. The tapings currently take place in Barcelona, where Wolf resides, every Thursday at 7:00 PM CET. “My main goal with this podcast is to bring something fresh and unique to the table—there's literally no one doing it this way,” said Wolf. “I was always hesitant about doing a podcast because I just wanted to focus on stand-up, but I realized if I was going to give it a go, I wanted to keep it as close to stand-up as possible. So, every week, I’m writing topical jokes, jokes about things that happened to me, and even jokes based on suggestions from listeners.”
Following the live recording, the video will be available for on-demand viewing exclusively on PunchUp Live, while the audio version will be accessible on all major podcast platforms. Thought Box offers comedy fans an unfiltered, stand-up-driven experience, making them feel like they’re at a fresh, new comedy show every week.
